He obviously enjoyed using the slide rule to direct "Stars and Stripes Forever"

I am presenting a slide rule to Keith Lockhart at Tech Night at the Pops, so that he can use it as a baton. Tech Men now use laptops (probably not even calculators!) so there should be a good use for old slide rules.

Had to make a very brief presentation.

I didn't want to part with it.

Note: the lighting at Pops was very low and getting good shots was very difficult. But Joe did a great job.

Keith said that he had learned to use a slide rule in school; I doubt if he envisioned this use!
